Hello to all at Whitehouse Baptist Church.
I’m Neil Coulson, the Minister of Christ Church URC/Baptist, Ipswich
and I have been asked by David Mayne, the EBA Regional Minister
Team Leader to serve you as a moderator through the pastoral va-
cancy. I’m delighted to be able to offer support to WBC and I do so
with the blessing and very best wishes of the Diaconate and all at
Christ Church. I’ve been a Baptist Minister since 2008, having trained at Bristol
Baptist College while serving as a Minister-in-Training at Stapleton Baptist Church,
Bristol, before that. My first full-time pastorate was in South Birmingham at North-
field Baptist Church. In 2012 I joined the Royal Navy as a Chaplain. Following 5
years of service and a short career break, I then became the Minister here at Christ
Church in 2018. I am married to Gill and we have four children. When I’m ‘off du-
ty’, I love to run, support Ipswich Town and spend time with my family, which usu-
ally involves walking and food! It’s been really good to meet with Colin and most
of the Leadership Team recently and I look forward to meeting you all soon and to
doing all I can to support you through this coming season.
